Marin & Tommy

Tuesday, June 26, 2007
Rarely is it the case that this blog pounces on the moment to address the really important issues...

And after a long time wrestling with what to post today, I was saved by our pal and sometime Blank Crisis correspondant, Joel Rowsdower. He sent us this article about a film coming soon, The Purple Brain. (I searched for trailers, but no-could-find.)
The plot is as follows: Sure, the pot you and your 40-something peers once enjoyed may have been innocuous, but that's only because it bears no resemblance to the super-potent weed of today-- strains with such foreboding names as "Train wreck," "AK-47," and "The Purple." As proclaimed by Drug Czar John Walters recently, "We are no longer talking about the drug of the 1960s and 1970s -- this is [in computer parlance] Pot 2.0."

So, enjoy some time today with Marin & Tommy, otherwise known as these guys.

Great post! I will find info on the movie. Notable omission from the sampling of C&C: Basketball Jones.

Oh wow-- believe it or not, I've never seen that before. I've heard the song before, somewhere... Terrific stuff!

I created and own the Cheech and Chong image you're using for this blog, it's not just for personal use, I would ask that you get my permission before using my artwork. I'd also appreciate some mention of credit for the image use, otherwise, please remove the image. I realize you're not using it for commercial use but I do own the image and it's use. Here is my website: www.cloxboyart.com

Thanks for understanding.
