FNM "kingforaday...foolforalifetime"

Tuesday, June 12, 2007
I'm totally with the Punk Guy on this one. And there are only a handful of bands left I'd kill to see reunite & tour again.

Example

Released a year prior to that which I spotlighted in the last post, FNM returned from their genre-shattering Angel Dust record, sans longtime guitarist, and delivered something a little more accessible, but no less brilliant. It was called... well, you know...

Example

"[Mike] Patton could very well be one of the most versatile and talented singers in rock music."
-
AMG critic, Greg Prato.
My sentiments exactly. There are no other vocalists I can think of who can evoke Barry White, Jello Biafra, Sade, and still do that thing that's all Mike-- in the same song.

A major Like, How Cool is They? goes out to all the Australians who put this album in the #1 slot.

Ricochet mp3
Evidence mp3
Ugly in the Morning mp3
Digging The Grave mp3
The Last To Know mp3
